An extensive Health & Safety Policy, Policy Statement, local arrangements and procedures in this area have been developed in consultation with all employees at Metalsmith Steel Fabrications . We are also CHAS compliant.

Training

We at Metalsmiths Steel Fabrications Limited understand the importance of what staff training. We have fully qualified First Aiders and appointed persons both out in the field and in the office/workshop environment. Where required staff are certificated to use all plant and machinery for specific projects they undertake.

We are fully compliant with ECITB CSCS Construction Skills Certificate Scheme.

Welding and Fabrication

We believe that our company can provide cutting edge technology at a competitive price coupled with over 80 years’ experience of welding and fabrication.

Installation

All of our site teams are fully qualified holding CSCS certificates, IPAF certificates, and IPAL certification.

We work closely with crane companies, when required, to provide a safe and successful installation of projects.  We also work within all Health & Safety Regulations taking into consideration site’s needs.

Design

On gaining a contract we work very closely with the client, engineer and site management team to provide a first-class service discussing all aspects of the project. These meetings are always held on a professional, personal and confidential basis ensuring full compliance with our client’s needs.

If required fabrication and general arrangement drawings can be provided in a timely manner.
